Fiber Update 10/22/23

Newly Completed Locations

Construction is complete, conduit is laid, and fiber is currently being activated in homes in the following areas!

·         All of Moapa, including the Warm Spring Area*

·         All of the Mills Street area

·         Jensen Avenue in Logandale

If you live in these areas or know people who do, let them know they can now receive fiber internet. This is the best internet technology that exists today– and it’s available here! Check availability at your address at mvtel.com.

*With the exception the Moapa Indian Reservation (update below on the Reservation.).

Current Projects

These are areas where construction is active. Fiber has been pulled and the crew is splicing it now (fancy term for joining two fiber optic cables together). Homes in the following areas will be ready to be connected with fiber internet in December of this year.

·         Cram Avenue

·         Whitmore Street

·         St. Joseph Street

·         Gubler Avenue

Lyman Street in Logandale: the digging is done, conduit is laid, and fiber is expected to be pulled early next year.  

Projects Beginning Soon

Moapa Tribal Indian Reservation has been added to the MVT fiber build. Conduit has started to be laid. The Reservation Housing area which will eventually serve approximately 72 homes is first on the list to be completed. After that, MVT will be moving on to build out and connect the rest of the Reservation.
